Hi, everyone! My name is Jasmine (aka Jazzy B) I have a love for all things fitness and food.
I first started sharing my meals on my Instagram account as a sixth form student (originally named @jazzyb_fit now @jazzy_b_pt) to inspire my friends and to track the quality of my diet. I had no intention to start a blog, however, as my passion grew so did the desire to share my food ideas and fitness views with a wider audience.
In more recent years, I’ve used my blog as a platform to share my experiences on things such as staying healthy whilst at uni/work, personal development, and generally living the ‘good life’. I truly believe there isn’t anything that a healthy, balanced diet and an active lifestyle can’t solve.
In the summer of 2019 I graduated with a Psychology degree at the University of East Anglia. As a student, despite the student stereotype that people have, I used this three years to build healthy habits, educate myself on all things fitness and work on my physical goals. I was so determined not to go out drinking, but work on myself instead. For me, my health and fitness was just as much of a priority as my degree (if not more!). This was when I began to question my post-uni plans.
In my third year of uni, I decided to complete a personal training course with Norfolk Health and Fitness, and this was the best decision I had made. Yes it did feel like a risky move to make whilst everyone was applying for grad jobs, but I know that wasn’t the direction I was supposed to go in. Now I am a personal trainer and I absolutely love it!
